Hey look, you get a free upgrade. (At least I think this may affect you)
Cox Communications Northern Virginia today said it will again increase the speeds of its cable Internet service at no additional charge to its customers.
Starting next month, Cox's Preferred package ($39.95 a month bundled with phone or video), will feature up to 5 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speeds. Cox's Premier package customers will then get up to 15 Mbps downstream and 2 Mbps upstream speeds ($54.95 a month, bundled price).

Northern Virginia? We can't get much farther south in Virginia than we are =-)
But on that note, our internet received this upgrade a couple months ago =-)
